Yayasan KAF Indonesia (Komunitas Pendanaan Mandiri,
Self-Financed Communities in English) is a non-profit organization initiated in
Kecamatan Pujut, Lombok Tengah, NTB, Indonesia, in 2014.
Mission
Our aim is to empower rural community-based
organizations in Indonesia, to enable them to lead their own development, using
KAF methodology as the base for the education and development processes.
Vision
We would like KAF to
become a key contributor to the empowerment of community-based organizations and
a base for community-led development across rural areas in Indonesia.
Objectives
To enable personal
and community development in rural areas, using financial education and income
generation as main lines of action to improve living standards.
To empower women to
become key contributors and members of the development of their communities, by
emphasizing the creation of KAF groups amongst women.
To encourage the use
of KAF groups to build a community-based and empowered organizational network
that can lead the development of their communities and people, in collaboration
with other organizations.
